Question 1: What are the Yahoo data I have access to using BodhiGold?
Answer: You have access to data from over 60 stock exchanges. Refer to the table on the right for the entire list.
Question 2: How does BodhiGold manage Yahoo data?
Answer: BodhiGold offers a simple interface for you to select multiple stock exchanges you wish to download data from, and converts the data into compatible format for your investment software.
Also, BodhiGold automatically remembers the date of your last download (whether it be a few days ago or last week) and proceeds to update your data from that point onwards.

Answer: The biggest problem with free data is that the data accuracy and integrity is not assured. If you feed inaccurate data into your investment software, you will make bad investment decisions based on bad data. Garbage in, garbage out.
Also, with free Yahoo data,
- you are unable to download data in sectors (i.e.
GICS).
- data is not adjusted for name changes, stocks
merging or splits
- data is rounded to the nearest cent. Eg .6¢
is rounded to 1¢
- there is no guarantee that free data will be
available indefinitely
- there is no redress/support if data is late,
missing, inaccurate etc.
- it is slow to download if you select a lot of
data from several markets
- data is available only after midnight
- data is not available for options, futures and
warrants
